About the role
BURN is looking for a Stock Point Officer who will be responsible for managing, receiving and dispatching goods, and tracking and maintain stocks levels and inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Receiving stocks from the Main Warehouse, scanning the items/stoves and updating the Inventory records.
• Inform relevant staff members and confirm of arrival stock in his store while acknowledging the receipt.
• Identify and report any shortages, discrepancy or excesses, dented stocks to his superior/manager.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing stock for quality and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of stock transactions and inventory level within the store by using manual and/or electronic systems.
• Provide an excellent support service to the sale department by issuing the stoves to the agents.
• Carry out barcoding of incoming and outgoing stocks from the storage point in Busy.
• Reconcile daily stock exits versus daily sales from the storage point under its management.
• Regularly counting and updating the stock register.
• Keeping the stock room clean and orderly while keeping goods well stored.
• Work closely with Station or Section Heads, procurement, and other departments to ensure efficient stock handling and fulfillment of orders.
• Address any issues promptly.
• Being proactive.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling stock and maintaining the storage area Carry out monthly and annual inventories.
• Perform any other task assigned by the hierarchy relating to the job description.
• Aftersales: In collaboration with the Management team, support the aftersales team where it is necessary.                            : Provide logistic assistance for the spares in the national wide.
• Collaboration: Produce analytical reports on the performance of operations.

Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above and may include other tasks as assigned by his/her Supervisor and management.

Skills and Experience.
• 2+ years of B2B and B2C sales and operations experience.
• +- 3 years experience working with advanced Excel functions
• +-1 years of supply chain management experience (demand, supply, and inventory planning) preferably in an environment of finished goods; parts and kits would be a plus.
• Understanding the FIFO/LILO Standards;
• +- 2 years coordinating cargo transport
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and french
• Strong analytic/number-crunching background, supported by excellent graphical presentation skills
• Strong leadership skills.
• Working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders in-country
• Experience managing a team of direct sales agents
• Completion of 2 years of university studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience working on carbon offsetting projects, preferably with a focus on renewable energy products.
