About the role
The Business Analyst will support the Commercial Team by converting data into actionable insights that enhance sales performance, optimize customer usage and repayment efficiency, and strengthen operational excellence.
The role includes developing and maintaining performance dashboards, monitoring KPIs, supporting strategic decision-making, managing sales agent mapping and payment data, and leading SAH tracking and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment between sales performance and compensation processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Dashboarding & Reporting
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards for customer usage, repayment efficiency, sales performance, and KPI tracking.
- Ensure dashboards are accurate, automated, and updated on agreed timelines.
- Provide clear visualizations for leadership, sales teams, and operations.
- Sales & Commercial Analytics
- Track and analyze sales performance by agent, cluster, region, and channel.
- Monitor sales funnel metrics (leads, conversions, drop-offs/rejection rate).
- Support forecasting, target setting, and performance reviews.
- Identify underperforming segments and recommend corrective actions.
- Repayment & Portfolio Analysis
- Monitor repayment efficiency (RE) and portfolio performance.
- Identify early warning signals for poor repayment or usage behavior.
- Support enforcement strategies and performance improvement initiatives.
- Partner with sales and credit teams to improve repayment outcomes.
- KPI Management & Performance Tracking
- Define, calculate, and track monthly and quarterly KPIs.
- Support incentive and commission calculations.
- Ensure timely communication of KPIs to stakeholders.
- Validate data used for performance evaluations and payouts.
- Data Quality & Process Improvement
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
- Work with sales ops, IT, and finance to improve data flows and automation.
- Document metrics definitions, dashboard logic, and reporting processes.
- Continuously improve reporting efficiency and usability.
- Stakeholder Support
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support commercial decisions.
- Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights.
- Support leadership presentations and reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Field Team data and report visibility every hour.
- Commission Support
- Updated and maintained agent mapping records
- Verified and validated commission calculations
- Managed SAH tracking and reconciliation processes
- Monitored cluster team field activities to ensure performance alignment
- Developed and processed compensation reports in the cluster
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Commercial Analyst role.
- Strong experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced), SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Proven ability to build and maintain dashboards and translate complex datasets into clear insights and visualizations.
- Experience analyzing sales performance, customer usage, or financial/portfolio data.
- Strong understanding of KPI development, tracking, and performance reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data accuracy, validation, and reconciliation.
- Ability to identify trends, performance gaps, and actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting forecasting, incentive/commission calculations, or performance management is an added advantage.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, operations, and IT teams.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments such as fintech, energy, PAYGO, or FMCG is an advantage.
