Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineers to implement design changes and improvements on stoves.
- Build and assemble sheet metal stove prototypes.
- Perform on-site and in-factory repairs and maintenance on test/pilot stoves as required.
- Perform simple CAD editing and reviewing before prototyping.
- Manage and prepare materials for laser cutting and prototyping.
- Conduct thorough inspections of laser-cut parts to ensure they meet design standards, adjusting as necessary as instructed by the product engineer.
- Assist the team with stove user placements.
- Product documentation of prototypes developed.
- Perform any additional tasks or assignments delegated by the product engineer.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in building and assembling sheet metal prototypes.
- Ability to perform on-site and in-factory repairs and maintenance.
- Proficient CAD editing and reviewing skills.
- Experience operating and managing laser-cutting machines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
