Burn is seeking a Carbon Educator who will be responsible for educating, training, and supporting clients on carbon projects and Ecoa products. The role ensures that clients fully understand key carbon concepts, product usage, and their role in the project.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Educate clients about the carbon project and its objectives.
- Clearly explain:
- Carbon subsidy
- Carbon credits and client consent
- Product features and benefits
- Train clients on:
- Proper product usage
- Maintenance best practices
- Inform clients about:
- Warranty period
- Warranty process and procedures
- Assess and confirm client understanding through questions and demonstrations.
- Raise awareness about the importance of client participation in the carbon project.
- Record client interactions and report relevant insights.
- Must hold, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in training, education, or teaching, with a solid understanding of carbon markets.
- Must be at least 20 years old.
- Ability to provide clients with customer service contact information
- Knowledge of carbon concepts (carbon credits, carbon subsidies)
- Strong training and knowledge transfer skills
- Mastery of educational and instructional communication techniques
- Good understanding of product features, usage, and maintenance
- Data collection and reporting skills
- Client follow-up and monitoring abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong teaching and simplification abilities (ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms)
- Empathy and patience towards clients
- Ability to assess and confirm client understanding
- Strong sense of responsibility and social impact awareness
- Adaptability (field conditions and diverse client profiles)
- Ability to troubleshoot simple product-related issues
- Post-installation follow-up
- Teamwork and collaboration
- French (mandatory)
- Local languages (Lingala, Swahili, Kikongo, and Tshiluba)
